Established manufacturing company in Blue Earth MN since 1963.  We manufacture steel and aluminum truck bodies and hoists for a variety of industry needs i.e. agriculture, construction, landscaping etc.  

Must have knowledge and some experience of preparing metal surfaces and painting/coating applications on metal.   More experience and supervisory experience a plus.  Welding experience also a plus

• Appropriate preparation of surfaces i.e. removal of grease, dirt etc.  

• Pouring primers/paint into spray guns, and experience with mixes for proper flow and thickness applications 

• Quality control for rust potential flaws, runs, blistering, streaks etc. and action to correct the causes. 

• Position requires using abrasives and solvents, and must understand material safety data sheets (MSDSs)

• Must have experience and knowledge of storage and disposal of materials classified as hazardous waste

• Position may also require you to use products to clean aluminum and stainless steel  

• Forklift operation (if applicable to the position) 

Supervisory Positions: 

• Team collaborations with management, sales, manufacturing leads and vendors 

• An understanding of procurement and logistics processes, and inventory of your product and supplies

• Managing and monitoring project schedules and work processes for self and assigned co-workers

• Quality control, motivating teams, documenting progress

• Reports to the General Manager / Other department leads
